Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 Chronograph Concept

A chronograph without push buttons? Europastar breaks down the intricacies of the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 Chronograph Concept, a new timepiece designed to be a driver's watch and the ultimate companion to your Aston Martin. It has 427 parts, 130 in the case and another 25 that make up the dial. It functions by pressing the upper and lower parts of the sapphire crystal which has a ball and joint pivot system that works through an intricate mechanism of levers to trigger the chronograph. There is a sliding indicator to make sure that the chronograph isn't accidently set off. The watch uses the new Calibre 751 movement with a 72-hour power reserve and it has a steel and titanium case covered in titanium oxide. The chronograph’s timing data ( 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter) are shown in two quarter-moon indicators tucked into the sides. The AMVOX2 Chronograph Concept will be made in a limited edition of 750 pieces to go on sale in May and will cost around 12,000 euros.
